I bought this at this price 2 weeks ago.

It works great; no issues. Only thing is that it gets really hot. I haven't had a hub to use in lieu of a docking station before so won't be able to compare to other hubs. Not even sure if the the heat matters

Also purchased this 2 weeks ago as a backup to my current USB-C hub, but I ended up making this my primary one. Used it a few times on the road, and everything works - PD passthrough, all ports functional with/without power, HDMI output works without issue. Great purchase, and at this price point, it's a no-brainer.

I wish there was a hub that was 4K 60hz. Waiting for the day that happens

Mine seems to be having an issue picking up the HDMI monitor connection after sleep. I have to pull the HDMI connector out of the hub and reinsert before it recognizes. Didn't have that issue with my Anker hub.

Thanks! Almost bought one for a new device a few weeks ago at $35, as I needed one with 3.5mm and SD card. Glad I waited for a deal since they're not as available as ones with just usb and hdmi. This is exactly what I wanted!

Only TB3 will have that in a hub. USBC by itself does not have enough bandwidth.

Reading the critical reviews on Amazon (and mentally filtering for those that actually seem to have a clue), this seems a bit unreliable. There's probably a reason something with all this functionality is so cheap, so I'm passing. Good luck, buyers.

I picked up a 5-in-1 model from this brand when it was posted on slickdeals a week or two ago. I have not had any issues. I have used it to transfer files from my phone to a USB drive, to output a movie to my TV via HDMI, and also as a Dex hub with my Samsung S10+.

It does get a little warm but works like a charm. Build quality is good. I would buy again.

Anybody have a recommendation for a USB C Hub in this price range (or better) that has Ethernet, HDMI and VGA? I found a few but not enough reviews for me to feel confident.
