Very beastly card for a stellar price, came to post this but the bot apparently did it this morning.

People should see this though so BUMP.
I wouldn't expect much of a decrease, if any. just because the new cards are out, it won't make the existing ones any slower. Nvidia is known to keep an eye on demand and purposely keep the supply low enough to where there is not a surplus which would allow prices to go down..

It's there really any reason to buy a new GPU right now with big Navi and ampere right around the corner? (Unless your current GPU broke or something?)

Using this card for two months. Running silent, FHD and 2k games smooth. No issue on bios. $260 is well worth.

I doubt ampere would have a good price seeing how expensive 2000 series are. If your budget is below $300, I say this is the card to buy.

The RTX 2060 is about 6% faster, which probably isn't worth it unless you really need some Nvidia specific features.
