FWIW, if you buy from DJI's website and ship to NYC (and some other states), there is no sales tax.

Yeah, the Mini with a spare battery is the same from B&H.
This is supposed to be a big Father's Day sale but it's not that big. The mavik mini from Costco for $398 is a better deal.

Can you buy parts? I broke the gimbal assembly on a mavic 2 and would like to just swap the entire assembly since it's easy enough to swap.

How is the Costco deal better? Looking to get one and this one seems same as Costco but with SD card and bag?

Assume the Ronin SC would work with a 70D even though it isn't mirrorless? It's only around 2-2.5lbs depending on the attached lens.

I got the Costco one. Not sorry I got it at all as it comes with an extra battery. The little glass-bubble charging dock is cute n' all, but completely impractical. As many others have said elsewhere, I wish they had included the 2-way charger instead. BUT, for the $389 you are getting it (the charging bubble) and a battery for free, so why not? Still cheaper than anywhere else, AND you get the excellent customer service, return policy, etc. from Costco.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: HOLY CRAP, it's only $369 now!

No, but neither does flying a larger drone like Mavic Pro or Air. The heavier drones DO require registering with the FAA. The Mini does not. It saves you $5 and a little bit of time. Also, if you want fly commercially, THEN you have to get certified. I think that is what you were thinking of when you mentioned "license".

Is it feasible to fly a drone in the SF Bay Area? I think there are many areas where drones are prohibited. Correct me if I am wrong.
Debating...
