Verizon and AT&T Customers: T-Mobile offering "Keep & Switch" promo, will pay off your phone up to $450

With Keep & Switch, you keep your existing phones and T-Mobile pays what you owe AT&T or Verizon on them, up to $450. Plus, right now, the third line is free on T-Mobile Essentials, so your family can save up to half off wireless service and phone payments on your AT&T or Verizon wireless bill when you Keep & Switch.
This works out to 4 lines for $105 (plus tax) on the Essentials plan. This offer also works on the Magenta and Magenta Plus plans (including third line free). I recommend Magenta because you get more perks and taxes are included, whereas on Essentials taxes are not included.

The details page only shows Essentials. Would like to see an example with Magenta instead.

The full terms also say:
"At T-Mobile, you'll never have to choose between an incredible network and a great price—we give you both. Switch your family from AT&T or Verizon and save up to 50% when you sign up for our Essentials plan and bring your current phones—we'll pay them off up to $450 each."

I'm glad I switched from Verizon last fall when the Get Out of Red promotion offered up to a $650 reimbursement per phone.

4 lines on magenta would be $140/mo (includes 3rd line free). The "Keep & Switch" promo works on Magenta too. There's a slider on this page to see the price for different number of lines: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...ns/magenta

If you go through the sign-up process then the up to $450 pay off does show up. But you do have to pay $10 for each SIM card.

3 lines of Magenta Plus comes to $140 total.

Tempting, but I usually get the flagship phone on Verizon with a nice device payment promotion annually. Rolling that every other year line by line works out nicely. It depends if you'll use the benefits.

IMO regular magenta is fine, if you're ok with 480p video. 3 lines on magenta works out to $120/mo (taxes included, which saves a decent amount). And magenta comes with basic netflix (or a discount on standard/premium netflix) and magenta plus comes with standard netflix. Then u also get the tmobile tuesdays offers on each line as well.

It definitely depends on what existing promos you have with your current carrier and whether or not you'll get benefit from the perks tmo offers.

Do these T-Mo plans have employer discounts available?

Oh hell yes! I've been waiting for something like this ever since they got rid of the switch from Verizon offer back in October.

I couldn't find anything about when this promotion expires. Did any of you notice a date mentioned?

If I've already paid my phone off will they still give you 450 to transfer if the phone is listed?
