Where the heck are all these "refurb" Walmart TVs coming from? Very odd.

Is this worth it with the protection plan (if it covers the screen) ?

Warehouse units that never sold mainly. They just open it up to make sure it works then sell it. Makes sense to check if it's worth selling So they don't have to deal with refunds.

I purchased a refurbished 65" Q70 Qled for $599 couple months ago from Walmart. It was an awesome deal. TV came in double boxed, packed securely and arrived in pristine condition, plastic wraps on the TV. I registered the TV on samsung.com and still showing up 4 more years of warranty. Made the purchase as people are reporting positive experiences with Walmart refurbished TVs.

I'm gunna take a chance on this and see how it turns out. The regular price for this TV is $500 so for a $185 discount i'll roll the dice.

My 2.5 yr old Vizio gave up yesterday all of a sudden. Trying to figure out if I should change the board or buy a new one. Any bad experiences with refurbished from Walmart?

Not relevant to this deal but what is the appeal of using a curved display to replicate a flat plane environment? A straight horizontal line is represented as curve by design? I hope these manufactures don't start making cars.. Hey you were gonna turn right eventually so we made that part easier for you...

Yes, as a TV I kinda agree with you especially at what is nowadays a pretty small size. I've been using a flat 55" as a computer display where I'm sitting just 2.5 feet away. If/when I need to replace it, I am now thinking a curved one might better.

I guess I'm too old school. I actually prefer a wrap around setup for monitors but I've always used a triple head setup using flat displays. Curved to me seems distorted but as long as I have a choice to buy them I can't complain.
