FAQ's:
- No, you cannot use Staples GC's to purchase these.
- No, these do not count towards your spend requirements for a premier membership.
- No, you cannot use coupons/ rewards to purchase these GC's.
- Yes, you can split payment between multiple cards (if your cashier permits it) YMMV
- The limit of 1 may or may not be enforced depending on your store/ cashier. YMMV
- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.
- What if my store doesnt accept payment with a CC? Your store likely has had issues with fraud and it is managers discretion on what payment they will accept.

- Other chase cards may have special offers for Staples ($ limited). Check your chase account under chase offers.

Is there another fee you are inferring here?

I added a wiki just now that answers your question and several other common questions these GC threads received.

You can't buy gift cards with gift cards.

Tempting, but it'd be a better return to invest that money in travel stocks rn

This is not financial advice.

It's not trying to be financial advice... Nor is it intended as an investment. I bought $4,000 of these (200 of the $200 gift cards) that I'll spend the same as cash over the next few months, except due to the 5x points on my Chase Ink Cash credit card, I'll get 20,000 points instead of just 4,000 points, and those 20,000 points will pay for a free round trip airfare for me. In the future, if you don't understand the reason it's a deal, ask. Whining about it from an uneducated perspective just looks silly.

Were you able to buy more than 1 per person limit noted - definitely worth the trip if I can get a few.

I was stating that my comment was not financial advice.

P.S. I think you meant 20 cards
