This is the crap that will be about $100 less on black Friday ... Mfg figured out how to make a 1080p screen look just as bad as a 768p screen.

1. An external monitor defeats the purpose of portability
2. Ever gamed on a 15" 60Hz monitor and then immediately gamed on a 15" 144Hz monitor? I have and holy new experience, Batman
I could only say we have very different standards.

I prefer to use a gaming laptop on an external monitor.

Looks like the deal is back. Mine arrived today and it's doing great - none of the heat issues people are complaining about (I don't have an AC and it's been mid 70s to low 80s today).

Performance in Photoshop CC is great though it def could use more ram (system said it was close to using all of it with a 32bit 42mp file but I suspect that was mostly an idle process since it didn't bog down when I imported a few layers). The screen isn't amazing but I spent some of the money I saved (vs buying a pricier laptop) on a smallish Cintiq clone and will be doing some of my editing on that.
