A storage container and lid will be listed as individual piece for any brand. I don't recollect any brand having only containers listed as a piece.
The 18 piece set seems to be much better deal since it has much larger containers. It's also slightly cheaper per piece after "clipping" coupon

Looks like 14pcs is 7 containers with 7 lids. Not saying its a bad deal, but the wording from the company could be a bit clearer.

I just bought a 6 pcs set from this same company on amazon that was 6 containers and 6 lids.

And the 10 pcs of the same model was shown as 5 containers and 5 lids. Its shady marketing.
Got you. Thanks.

Anyone have experience with these? Curious how they compare to say the Rubbermaid brilliance as far as staining after microwaving etc. The brilliance seem to stay clear even after storing and heating things like tomato sauce

It looks like a good price, but these are small. Compared to the Rubbermaid sets, they are around the size of the 3 smallest Rubbermaid containers, which are below 2 cups.

I lived in Vietnam for 3 years and these are by far the best brand there. All the lock and lock brand I bought said made in Korea on them, they were the only ones that were air and water tight. I even brought some back to Florida with me. As for rubbermaid, I cant comment on them as I have never owned them.

Love LocknLock. Usually get mine on QVC when they have specials on it (usually a few times a year). Holds up better than your basic ziplock/glade type containers, and they're great for storing items besides food (I use a lot for storing craft items, office supplies, and pet food/treats). Keep in mind they are not for cooking in - reheating ok, but they're not meant to stick in the microwave for 20 minutes cooking something. If like other plastics that will eventually lead to them deteriorating. Get their glass ones if you want to do that (have some of those too for baking - love having a locking lid on top to keep baked goods fresh!) Generally if you can buy a set where each container/lid pair is $2 or less each that's a good price.

I use all different brands like Tupperware, Rubbermade, etc and these are by far the best. You won't regret if

These are the best. Great seal and quality. Got two sets years ago and still use them.
