Renting is smart. Sis bought 2 of these for close to a grand each and used for like a half year.

Resale value is actually really good on these. If you are going to rent for over 4mths you might as well buy and then sell for 600-650. Even better if you can get it at 40% off.

Renting is a huge mistake in my opinion. We bought ours for $950 and sold it for $900 after using it for 6 months. I think we got a bit lucky selling it for $900, but $700 should be very easy.

For anyone on the fence, this bassinet is worth it's weight in gold. We got this when our baby was 6 weeks old. She had never slept more than 3 hours at a time prior. The first night she slept for 11 hours straight. Beyond this it is the safest bassinet you can buy and because it soothes the baby back to sleep, it's much easier to do things like take a shower since the baby is less likely to wake up.

A slick price is $850. The best deals tend to be in November/December.

My son was a garbage sleeper, and would only go 40 minute stretches in a napper or a swing. We could get a solid 4 hours out of him in the Snoo, which doesn't sound like much, but to me it was amazing and worth every penny. We even dragged it along on a vacation because we tried to get him to sleep in the easier-to-transport swing/bouncer prior to leaving, and I straight up vetoed it after 2 nights of hell.

Granted, we got it 2 years ago for <$700 back in the day when they were cheaper and frequently running 40% off sales. We've since lent it out to 2 friends of my husband who had kids after us, and so far have no complaints Smilie If it comes back damaged, you'd better believe I'll be getting a new one for #2, though probably not at this price.

I'm rather concerned with resaling used baby products. What if the purchaser accuses me of selling defect that's causing harm to their baby, will I be responsible for any injury during their use? Knowing happiestbaby won't warrant over second hand bassinets......
