Ugreen has has strong SD presence recently.
Take post and popularity with mild skepticism.

coupon code should make it clear that this is an affiliate/promoted offer. wish that was actually clearly disclosed on SD

these items have mostly been posted before at same price point by staffers in recent weeks.
if you trust Ugreen and need it now, seems like ok price but also looks like revolving advertisement so probably can get same "deal" in a week or two.

I've grown to trust Ugreen. So far all their products that I've tried are reliable and well made. I'm actually beginning to consider them in the same class as Anker. I bought this charger for around $18 and while it doesn't get a ton of use (bought for the office right before the virus hit) it seems solid and just as reliable as their other stuff. FWIW I'm not paid or compensated by them and I'd recommend their stuff highly to a friend/family. I can't speak to their posts being sponsored.

While the sentiments are understandable, what brand isn't being "shilled" on SD these days? Anker, Aukey, Rav? They all got their start somewhere.

But Ugreen is not as well known as Anker and Ravpower. They have to lower the price of their products further in order to attract more customers trying their stuffs. When I could get a USB-C to Lightning cable from Anker for $9.79 and from Ravpower for $7.61 this month respectively, why would I pay the same $$$ to try something unknown to me especially when I am satisfied with Anker and Ravpower?

I bought an IDE to USB adapter from this company a couple months ago when I was playing around with modding an old PS2, and the rep was very nice and patient with my dumb self.

Don't know how that translates to cable quality, but I figured I'd share my own experience.

I haven't used their chargers but I have 3 of their SATA to USB drive enclosures that I put SSDs in. I've had one sitting plugged into my Xbox for more than 2 years now that stores my most often played multiplayer games, did a lot of uninstalls and installs to it over time, still works. I bought 2 more as I needed some, one for my brothers xbox and one for backing up my music. It's good build quality, didn't feel cheap and the transfer speed seems to be normal for an SSD plugged into an adapter. Can't speak on charging devices though.

You make a good point but every company has to start somewhere. Anker, Aukey, and Ravpower was once in Urgeeen position.

I noticed the "UGREEN" name popping up on eBay over a year ago. I was looking for a Micro USB to USB C converter (after buying a new Samsung Note phone with USB C). I noticed that the UGREEN adapters were more expensive than the other no-name Chinese converters that were being hawked by numerous eBay vendors -- and the product was shipping directly from UGREEN. I ended up purchasing one, which was made of aluminum and came in the type of slick packaging you'd expect from established consumer brands like Belkin or Anker.

When I wanted a longer cable for my new external Pioneer DVD Burner, I noticed that there was a UGREEN version at a fairly low price on eBay... bought that as well, and, again, the cable was very high quality and the packaging was high quality as well (that was a more recent purchase).

I've now been lumping UGREEN chargers and cables with Aukey and Anker (and I guess, RAV, as well). Although, I've liked UGREEN products so far, one thing that remains a bit of mystery is their warranty responsiveness. Anker offers a 18 month no-hassle warranty and Aukey offers a 24 mo warranty which can be increased to 30 months in some cases if you register the product. I'm not clear on what UGREEN's warranty is, or if they've been responsive to warranty claims... so, at the same price, I'd probably choose an Anker or Aukey over a UGREEN.

All of the above said, this is a great deal on a 18w PD charger with a USB C to Lightning cable, included. I purchased one as a gift for my sister, who has an iPhone.
