$35 for a tiny LED light with rechargeable battery? I understand this is probably more powerful than a regular LED, but even CREE-equivalent flashlights cost less. Is there some significant engineering going into this that I'm not understanding?

How heavy is this? I would hate add more weight to my drone.

Drones can be used for professional videography. Any gear that is even remotely associated with videography is usually way overpriced. 👻

"anti-collision"... Okay. And you can run it for up to an hour in epilepsy mode.

Just drone nerds love buying accessories and they think they need lights. Daily there are posts on the FB drone groups asking if anyone has lame stuff like these.

No, its not. You are required to have strong anti collision light like this if you are flying after sunset under Part 107 rules.

99% of drone pilots don't get a part 107 and the ones that do learn that the lights actually mean something. The people on the forums just buy them and stick them on wherever

Lights that meet the FAA requirement are needed in the US for night time flying for hobbyists and those who have part 107. People trying to fly responsibly is good for drone pilots everywhere.
