3 - I purchased the 3 items below and did get the 20% off

Le Creuset LS2024-3067 Enameled Cast Signature Iron Handle Skillet, 11-3/4-Inch, Cerise
Le Creuset LS2501-2667 Signature Enameled Cast-Iron Round French (Dutch) Oven, 5-1/2-Quart, Cerise

Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible".Offer does not apply to digital content.Offer good while supplies last.Shipping charges and taxes may apply to the full value of discounted and free promotional items.Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address.Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order. If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid.Unless an Amazon Gift Card is the stated benefit of the promotion, promotional codes (including those placed directly in accounts) may not be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.

5 - This deal is better than the Le Creuset site wide 20% off deal as you get 20% on top and there are a lot of the items on the Amazon list.

Added 3 mugs from the list, doesnt work

EDIT: apparently it's for select colors, works for red anyways. And then again, $50 for 3 mugs seems like a horrible deal. Rip-off city with this brand, Lodge here I come

If you are able to get Le Creuset from Burlington Coat Factory (posted on slickdeals in another thread), that price would be better. However, for in stock and latest items with a choice of most colors (if not all), this would be as good as it gets.

By "latest" - what I mean is

Le Creuset used to sell their Classic line and are phasing it out as they have now started selling their Signature line. The items in the Amazon deal are from the Signature line. While I have not checked, the Burlington Coat factory items probably are the Classic line. Even if they are from the Classic line, the prices are really good at Burlington Coat factory but they seem like highly YMMV. Classic line is pretty good also.

Differences between Classic and Signature -

1 - Knob handle resistant to higher temperature (375 degrees in the Classic vs 500 degrees in the Signature)
2 - Changes to logo and rim lines on lid
3 - Bigger handles with more finger room (45% bigger in the Signature relative to the Classic)
4 - Better lid fitment (the lid is tighter in the Signature and won't let as much moisture out relative to the Classic)
5 - Better quality enamel (Signature line has the higher quality enamel than the Classic- more resistant to thermal shock and less likely to crack or chip. It is also more resistant to changes in color).

Hope this helps.

Def. I checked 2 Burlington's and both were completely bare shelves... so no luck in my area unfortunately. I may bite!

Lodge is a very good company and they make all their cast iron products in South Pittsburgh, TN, USA except their enameled cast iron dutch ovens and other enameled products which are made in China.

The enameled Dutch ovens from Lodge come at a very good price compared to the Le Creuset but are made in China. The quality of the enamel is not quite as good and the enameling chips off sooner relative to Le Creuset. However, there is a good argument to be made for Lodge in terms of the price. Even if they are made in China, I am sure Lodge has high quality controls in their China factories.

Le Creuset has a lifetime warranty with some conditions.

Lodge - It is not very clear from their website. But from some cooking/kitchen websites, this is what I could gather - not sure how accurate this is -

There is not a written warranty for Lodge Cast Iron Cookware, however, they do stand behind every product manufactured. For product problems, please contact Lodge Customer Service and they will solve the problem to your satisfaction. Lodge Enamel Cookware is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

It was frustrating to not find warranty information on Lodge's website - at least I could not find it with a basic search.

Hello, you can consider buying from a Le Creuset outlet as they are clearing out the Classics and selling them at 40% off of the Signatures price. Even with all the differences, the price for the Classic is a good deal. To summarize

a - you can get the Classic line at 40% of the Signature line
b - you can get the Signature line at 20% off the regularly advertised price
c - you can get the lodge for lot cheaper but it is made in China

Even if you do not have an outlet near you, you can call them and they will ship the classics for free.

A or B is better IMHO.
