jbl 580 = r263 depending on which sound you like better, but both are generally regarded as better than the Jamo C 95

I bought this set weeks ago with the sub, great sounding speakers. I also own the r263s and must say the infinitys are "fuller", robust and offer more of a room filling sound. I believe the infinity's are north of 200 watts while the Jamo is 145 watts or so.

A more fair comparison would be the C 97 II. Those were recently on sale for $299. At that point I think it comes down to aesthetics preference.

The individual pieces are on sale elsewhere, but this is the best price for them combined that I'veseen, just wondering if anybody knows where I can find more information on these, not finding a lot about them online

Not even comparable

The JBL blow these out of the water and the infinity's are also significantly better

I might just be rationalizing my own decision, but can you point me towards where you're seeing that the JBL blow these out of the water? I know it's a couple steps up, but I have two C109s and I absolutely love them.

It looks like the C95 is is roughly in line with the JBL 580. Both have a 1" tweeter. JBL has two 6.5" woofers, Jamo has two 6" woofers. JBL claims 40Hz, Jamo 37Hz (obviously this isn't gospel).

From what I've read, Jamo's C series was their flagship, and a clear step above their newer stuff.

How about just the bookshelf compare to the Edifire S1000DB

Considering cost wise, I already have a good DAC.
So I would need an AMP, for budget reason, I'm going with the Monoprice 60 watt per channel Bridgewater
That's about $300 all in.

While Edifire is $235 and don't need to mass with an amp.

Anyone tried both?
