Mine said it in blue on the plastic packaging...just like the product picture from Amazon. The item number is 83620 which I believe is listed on all these microfiber towels from Kimberly-Clark that are BLUE.

WypAll 83620-8395 Cloths with Microban Microfiber, 15 3/4" x 15 3/4", Blue (Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E2Q...8EbGWHENHZ [amazon.com]
Can you point me to where it is on the plastic packaging? I see microFIBER (a type of fiber) but no microBAN (an anti-bacterial technology).

Look at the first picture on the Amazon website. It states microban very faintly on the front in blue of the packaging in front of the blue colored towel. Hard to see...but it's there.

I see it on amazon's picture. Interestingly, on the staples site that isn't listed, and I my bag it says "The shelf life is unlimited" in that spot. Very very odd.

Mine showed up today. Can anyone confirm they actually have microban tech? It's on the staples page but I can't find it listed anywhere on the package. I also checked the kimberly-clark page for this item number and they don't list microban anywhere on their page or product pdf's.

Did we just get taken by Staples?
I spoke with someone at KC. She checked the technical data sheet and it confirms it has microban.
From data sheet she sent me:
Materials 1-ply Knitted Microfiber Cloth with
Microban Antimicrobial Product
Protection

Awesome, thanks. I was still waiting on my response from an email to them.

Strange product detail: "Six glue sticks per pack"
Yummy, I always loved glue sticks when I was younger.

Here is the response I received from KC: " He likely has a newer wiper. These wipers were reformulated to remove the microban treatment chemistry."

I had already opened the bags and put the towels in to be washed, so Staples refunded the price and told me to keep or donate. That was cool of them.

The info you received is probably more accurate than what I was told since there's no mention of micronban on their website. That sucks as I bought it for that feature.

It's not about your passion it's a deal site. If you are germ phobic you may be passionate about it but it doesn't make any product' marketing that happens to be playing into your particular passion a deal. I will get some microfibers and I will take the recommendations of some of the members that have more idea of what a deal is versus hyping panic buying based of fear. I thought the site was to look out for the consumer but it appears everyone is in the side of the marketing departments now.
Werd!
