This is essentially just a combination of the 100 and 105 piece sets which is kinda weird because they're very redundant. Even if purchased separately, it's only $5 more.

I'd recommend people look at one of the below deals and buy just one of them for $35 or $30 because of the redundancy. I personally like the $35 100 piece set because it has more longer bits. The $30 105 piece set has a lot of 1" #2 philips bits for contractors who eat through those quickly.

Agree on the $60 set. I got it but unless you chew up and spit out these bits, it's a ton of duplication. I plan to keep just the 100pc set which seems to have the nicer-to-have pieces and still has a ton of bits.

A magnetic bit holder solves the problem for short bits. I keep a 3 inch and 6 inch on hand.

I put this same deal up 2 weeks ago and got thumbed down to negative. Sd makes no sense.
Like the previous poster here said, you can buy the drill and driver sets separate for almost the same price.

Shockwave bits are so overrated but even if you love Milwaukee this isn't a good deal.

SD has rarely made sense since it went commercial/revenue driven.

Interestingly enough the first reply to this post is almost verbatim to the reply on your original thread.....

You're right, I need to stop being a hoarder and return the $30 one.

I have some shockwave bits I got free with my impact driver 2 years ago set and I bought one of these new sets. The difference in quality is massive. I'm not sure if you had the older or newer ones, but the newer ones are much much better. The case style is the same, but the bits themselves are made with much better materials and finishes.

I'll second this user's exact sentiment. Just ordered the 100 piece kit myself few days back.

If you're not a contractor or some sort of crazy #2 Philips lunatic, there's no reason to have 20+ 1" #2PH bits (that's what comes in the 105 kit, and what also comes in this big 205 kit).

For anybody newer to tools, if you're going to spend money one place in your drill/driver setup, it should be for your bits. Know that "where the rubber meets the road" adage? For drills, it's where the bit meets the fastener. If you've never used a good quality bit with a snug fit into whatever fastener you're using, it's really hard to understand why it matters so much, but it really helps a lot.

If you want some review material, Project Farm (one of my favorite YT channels ever for non-shill reviews) did a durability test of a bunch of different impact-rated bits, and some of these Milwaukee bits came out near the top for both fit and durability.

Another deal is ongoing, 110-Piece DeWALT Shank Screwdriver Bit Set (link,https://slickdeals.net/f/14135558-milwaukee-shockwave-205-pc-impact-duty-alloy-steel-drill-driver-bit-set-60-free-shipping?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1) As the first bit set purchase, which one is better?
