Familiar design. Can't quite place where I seen this design before.

In case you're wondering, the 5G refers to 5 GHz for the live video feed to your phone, not 5G cellular. Stupid marketing buzzword ploy.

It checks most of the boxes people might look for in a decent camera drone... But there's no way in hell it's quality.

Amazon reviews. Battery lasts ~11 minutes. Charging takes awhile.

I have the older 720p model. Worked great for the first three months. Very light use. After a few crashes the drone always veer to one side. Just FYI.

I'm curious - have you ever flown a decent DJI or equivalent drone to compare?

Quality pictures/video or quality drone?
I have the promark 720p version and it's a lot of fun for the $45 I paid (well, I paid $270 for 6 but who's counting) the batteries are 10-15 depending on how windy and how much video you shoot. Fighting the wind takes plenty of battery. Mine has follow mode, headless, came with fpv goggles, cheap but still Hella fun, second set of props, landing gear, and removable blade guards that I always wish I had on when I run it into something.

The batteries are 2500mah 7.4v so you can replace them with larger lipos and there are a couple of power adapters one of which comes with a 3d printed back cover,on amazon so you can double flying time. I have spare batteries so all I have done is printed a couple of the back covers for the drones I've sold without batteries and those that have them have bought their own batteries to fly with.

Farthest away I've run it is about 90' vertical and 330' horizontal the full range is supposed to be 500 yards but video, without replacing the antenna, is about 150 yards. The return to home, and the GPS in general, work great. Return to home usually lands within a foot of takeoff. And position hold, even in the wind is good.

For sub $100, with 2 batteries* and 1080 video this is a solid deal. Parts are cheap and it is super easy to fly with.

EDIT I see 2 batteries in the pictures but no mention of the second battery in the text so I'd make sure you take a screen shot. I have no idea what new egg customer service will do for you if it doesn't come with the second battery

Supposedly 5ghtz video gives the fpv a boost in distance to 200 yards plus.

I'll ask you the same - have you flown a fairly decent DJI or equivalent?

Not trying to discount your opinion, just trying to get a perspective on it...

I have this model (1080p), bought it from amazon last year for about $150, without the second battery. The camera is ok, but the color and overall definition is lacking. The flight is pretty easy, and overall it's very capable. I just wish the camera higher quality, and that it wasn't jerked around by the wind as much.

I think this is a better buy @130 with extra battery and carry case.

I have. This compares with the older models, not the new. It does not have avoidance or any of the modes like dronie or circle. It does have follow, auto take off and land, body style is similar to the older ones but it weighs much less. The camera does not have a self leveling gimbal, the gimbal is powered and will tilt straight down. 0 to -90. If you spend 10x as much, in my case $45 vs $450 for a Mavic mini, or 20x for a Mavic air 2 you get a substantial amount of technology, much better camera, distance in miles vs yards, but at a substantial increase in cost. I fly once or twice a month, 6 months maybe, out of the year. If you are a videographer this is not the drone you want. If you are a hobbiest that doesn't want the snoopfest that is involved in the dji app this is a sub $100 drone with a lot of features for that price level.

It's like the difference between an f1 car and your accord. The technology of one exceeds the other as does the price.

But few need the capability of an f1.

If you have no specific intention with owning a drone, just want to fly and take a picture or video and it might end up on a shelf in the garage with all the other slick deals... This is exactly what you need. Then give it to a kid if you ever justify buying a dji.

Edit
Here's some photos and a couple small videos from the other day. Googles compression makes it look worse than it is on the phone.

This looks just like the HS110D with an upgraded camera (tilt 90 degrees capability) and a few other features. The HS110D that I have is half the price of its sibling 110G and is fun to play with. It is stable and can be fast. I think the 110G and the 110D do share many parts with a different controller.
