All these different power ratings still confuse me. Will this quick charge my iPhone 11 with a regular USB cable? Does it matter of I use regular USB or USB C?

Edit: If I just need this for my iPhone, would this be better? If you just need a charger for your iPhone, the 61W charger is way overkilled. You may consider the Ugreen 18W charger with USB-C to lightning cable for $12.

Back to this deal. The price is good, but note that this is no GaN tech.

i think the 11 only can do 18 PD so this will work with a C - Lightning Cable and can also power a laptop upto 61w PD so its future proof
that said you only need the RP 30w YES

or here is a 2 Port 18W PD-C and QC 3-A for $9.99 [amazon.com] (i like having Dual Ports just in case)
USB-C Output: DC 5V3A, 9V2A, 12V1.5A Max, 18W Max
USB-A Output: DC 5V3A, 9V2A, 12V1.5A Max, 18W max
USB-C + USB-A Simultaneous Output: DC 5V/3A, 15W Max

Which SSD external drive consumes 2.5A? Most portable ones can work off usb 3.0 which provides around 0.9A (looking at Samsung they're about 5W max during high W/R which is 1A on 5V voltage).

According the Raspberry, "A good quality 2.5A power supply can be used if downstream USB peripherals consume less than 500mA in total". So 3A is good enough. Most external accessories like hard drives do not need more than 1A though. Ofcoz more is better.
