Note:If your firmware version is 2.2.1.210 or lower, you cannot update the firmware directly to v2.3 or higher. You must first update the firmware to v2.2.1.212 using the manual firmware update feature in the router web interface. After updating the firmware to v2.2.1.212, your Orbi router reboots, and then you can update to higher versions.

Obviously doesn't belong in Hot Deals.

I normally wait a while after firmware is released to let other people find the problems, if any.

Note that if you upgrade the firmware you'll need to re-do setting the separate SSIDs, if you've done that:

Only issue I'm having with the latest firmware so far is that after updating the router, I was not able to automatically or manually update the satellites (login issue from the router admin web page). Instead I had to factory reset each satellite, update their firmware directly from a laptop over ethernet, and then sync them back up to the router using normal procedures. Otherwise, no issues to report over the past couple weeks.

I didnt lose any settings in the process and both my internal and guest SSIDs and wpa passwords came along for the ride.

And yeah, not a hot deal, but you tripped my Orbi alert and figured I'd share my experience in case it helps someone else.
