How well does this router cover in a large 2 story home with modern construction?

Anyone that has this router have any comments on it?

Get a mesh router. I have TP-Link M9, I like it. Don't waste money on these gaming routers.

Or just run some cat6 cables. Bonus points if you roll your own router.

Works like champ! Two story built in 2004 about 1900 sq ft.

I posted this deal last time when it was $249 and got down-voted because of wifi 6/mesh wifi being better, but honestly this is a solid piece of equipment I get wifi all through out my two story home and I worked well with Cox and Spectrum getting nearly 1gbps all through out the house and through Ethernet cables on multiple devices. Definitely recommend

I paid almost $500 for this when it came out. It's a few years later and still works good.

Good price for this

How much sq. footage would you be needing to cover, roughly speaking?

Thanks. Got one. I've been looking to replace my old Asus with an Asus AX-3000, but the 5ghz reception was worse, so I returned it and got a TP-Link AC2300. and yet again, the reception was less than my old ASUS. I'm hoping this will do the trick. Third time's a charm!

Looks like dual-band: "Four enhanced dual-band Active antennas with high powered amplifiers—Maximizes range and throughput"

If you buy this install the Voxel Firmware. I think it runs better and really helps if you connect any external drives to it.

I'm pretty sure it's tri-band. It supports 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 60Ghz

$200 and no 2.5Gig RJ45? Seems like there's better investments.

EDIT - there's SPF 10G, which is not bad, but still would be better to get non-SPF
