Thanks, looks like it is comparable to 32ul750 so price doesn't seem that good then.

I just want to say that when I buy a monitor I don't even look at it.

But seriously, I've read some detailed comments about VA and TN panels and most of it sails past me. I appreciate that there are folks who appreciate the 'better' or 'gooder' versions of things, but the monitors I have . . . well, I never look at them and think they're missing something or are somehow incorrect. So IDK how important some of the comments are for the crowd that 'just needs a good monitor that's not expensive,' but I always appreciate the banter and info I get from the comments (Like the TN comment above. . . I sound smart, huh. No idea what TN is but they're typically seen as 'bad' or 'not the good version')

Thanks. Was looking for something that could also casually game as I currently have 60hz monitors already, but that review says the monitor is a bit too slow for even that. I'll keep looking for another 4k deal.

Won't sell much. Gamers are most the market place. At least on here.. and unless you're getting a kickback, why'd you care if it sells? 60hz is no good for gaming..and va panels typically have better contrast. but thanks for sharing bro. personally I think ips is for noobs. I mean who cares about viewing angle on a monitor, and who wouldn't want better contrast? And who wants to pay more? crazy..
What nonsense comment! You prob don't know nothing about panels! 🤦🏼 ♂️

Wait for LG to release their 4K 144Hz IPS monitor in a couple months.

People are so hungry to argue even when it's against their own straw men. Just remember to avoid any job in which you have to interact much with people... Seriously.

And like why do they care if it sells? It's as if people invest their ego in deal.

"VA panels are the compromise panel. They offer accurate colors and wide viewing angles, almost comparable to IPS panels. Their response time is a little slower than that of TN panels, but also a little faster than IPS panels. So, if you want to get a monitor that brings balance to what a TN panel and IPS panel bring, VA panels are the way to go." -- web re: gaming monitor.

There are a few differences between this and the LG 32UL750:

LG has a VA panel, not IPS
LG has more traditional thicker bezel
LG has one year vs three year warranty
LG has HDR600 certifications vs no certification for Acer (neither have full array dimming limiting usefulness of the feature)

oh god I see the idiots have already landed

gaming is not the only reason monitors are made
It's still a good deal in my eyes, but the guys has a point in highlighting that it's only 60hz. That applies for some developers who stare at the screen all day as well.

Developers don't care about refresh rate beyond 60Hz for coding and productivity work.

I am a photographer who games. I don't need a do it all panel. I have a gaming monitor and a creative monitor. Why is this hard to understand for teenagers (I am assuming they are 13 since they used words like n00b)? I don't want to compromise by getting a do it all panel.

I love the gamers saying it won't sell from a company that literally cares very little about gamers and exists for the sole purpose of AVL and photography production.
Don't get me wrong that guy is a complete idiot .. but he didn't say anything about B&H or the products they sell. He said this monitor deal won't get any traction on slickdeals because it's mostly gamers who browse. Whether or not that is true I have no idea nor really care.

Really? I need a new monitor but have been torn where to compromise. I do enjoy gaming but also love me some Lightroom.
