So this or an iPad Pro? I'm leaning towards the iPad.

Reminder they still won't allow chromeos devices to run Minecraft out of the box. The workarounds are lengthy and annoying.

I mounted a Huawei MediaPad m3 to my Lexus dash using 2 vent mount magnets. It worked great cause the car's nav was above the dash so you could use both.

I don't know why if someone wanted a tablet they wouldn't get Android or iPad and if they wanted a laptop they wouldn't get a touchscreen Windows PC. Especially at this kind of price. You sacrifice the majority of the good features of both so...you can hold an unwieldy tablet?

If you're using this as a notebook workaround, fine. Do not get this to be a tablet. It's very big. Plus there is no any accessories. If you want a simple folio case like there is for iPad or Samsung tabs, forget it. There's two after market ones, and they're both ugly and bulky.

Can you re image this with Windows? That would make it a nice alternative to the surface.

Sounds like you are an accident ready to happen. Let me guess you watch porn and drive at the same time.

I have to admit, this thread prompted me to pull out my m3 this morning to grab the Duet offer (which by the way was laggy AF over wifi with my surface pro3 even with both on 5ghz - really wish the chromebooks could do wired Duet).

Anyway, grabbed the Fallout Shelter offer and played it on the Slate for like 3 hours. Lot of fun.

The screen on these really is gorgeous.

By the way, I did put this textured skin on mine and it helps a lot with it not feeling like it's going to slide out of your hands. I got it for around $21 with a promo code at the time.

unless you have some burning reason to have chromeos, get the ipad. And use Chrome as your browser. Although Edge on my ipad is growing on me.
