We hear you and have also heard your concerns regarding incomplete orders of toner cartridges in connection with the purchase of certain refurbished imageCLASS printers made between 6/16/20 and 6/24/20. We regret any confusion with respect to this purchase. This promotion was very popular and exceeded our expectations and as a result, we have temporarily exhausted our toner cartridge supply, and so we are working hard to complete order delivery as fast as possible. Weare currently finalizing estimated shipping dates.


Everyone who made an eligible purchase will be receiving an email in the near future with more detail, but rest assured that those who made eligible purchases will receive two sets of color toner including cyan, magenta, yellow and black (for eligible color printer purchases) and two black toner cartridges (for eligible black and white printer purchases).

WOW this deal has been a shitshow for sure.
On like June 26th I received a Printer.. a nice printer.. that I can't use..
it's july 12th and I've received CYM toner (the best part is CM came thursday, Y came friday) but no black as of yet, no word as to when I'll get my black toner. Ive only received 1 set of color toner and 0 sets of black toner. I called customer service and they're useless they don't know what's going on and I"ve just been told to wait and it'll all clear up. I"m not very hopeful. I will wait another week or 2 and then call and complain again and see if I end up with a second set of toner..maybe I"ll get a third.

I finally gave up and ordered an off brand of black on amazon so I can actually use the printer. I dragged it to the basemetn waiting for toner, then since I was redoing the floors.. Got tired of a box sitting in my dining room so finally just hooked it up and ordered a toner off amazon becaues I"m tired of this big @$$ box sitting in my diningroom.

I have to hand it to Canon, received my mf743 without any toner, about a week later a full set of toners arrived, and two days ago another (second) full set of toners arrived. No phone call or email/chat required. I'm happy

Calling is all good and well when it was unknown what was going on. I'm thankful people did and that is likely the reason Canon gave us an update agreeing everyone would be receiving 2 sets of toners.

But after that some people were still upset they didn't have it "now". Posting about how you sat there arguing with a CSR stating you haven't gotten it soon enough is most definitely Karen behavior. Particularly because some of those people were arguing about not receiving their SECOND set soon enough.

If you look around, many (!!) people besides myself are very happy with this deal and we're thankful for the folks who called Canon about it. I'm sorry you're not. If you did actually order one of these printers, and you're not just picking my words apart because you're angry, you'll get your extra toners. You're entitled to be a hurt spectator, but picking my words apart is quite precious in itself.

Completely agree. But the "Karen" guy was happy to get the bonus toners, but didn't bother to make your distinction between those with reasonable expectations and those with toddler frustration with not getting their bling instantly.

Look, I used the word Karen one time. It was a joke on my part and you've twisted it upside down. I was thankful in it, but you're turning it into something that no one else has. I placed my order, did my endless hoop show with Canon, and then shut up to see what shook out. My second toner set will be delivered tomorrow. It's very simple: Slickdeals Karens never lift a finger here and they announce they don't "need" slick deals, but they're happy to benefit from them. Your version also seem unsure what "martyr" means, btw. You have 23 posts and zero earned reputation points and you're joking about other Karens. Maybe post an actual deal, and then thank yourself?

Dear friends. I am struggling with scanning documents using my iPhone canon app. It works on and off. Gives error check remote UI settings or update firmware. I updated firmware and it worked once. But stopped working and getting the same error again. Please suggest how to fix this error. I am using canon print business app. Also, wanted to check if there is any way to scan both sides of document Using ADF. Does this printer (644 model) supports two side scanning?

I don't know anything about a Canon iPhone app.

But you can scan duplex (two-sided), it works amazingly well. If you don't want to mess with configuring special options to do this then you should just scan to flash drive. The option is available for that. There are other ways (scan to folder, or setting up a custom scan action) but they require some learning to set up. I use some of the custom options but it is a bit confusing getting all that set up so if you are not a techy type then I recommend sticking with flash drive. Otherwise, dig in a start looking into the different options in Application Library.
