Definitely 10000mAh is better than 5000mAh on paper but with probably overrated unknown brand plus with risk of catching fire vs Anker it's a no brainer.

So many chargers on here all the time I'm sure most people don't know what's good for what their needs are and in reality the 18w charger will dramatically improve the charging time for "most" phones, example: the 18w charger improves the charging speed of the iPhones; 11(all variants), iPhone se 2020 version as well as the newest Samsung devices.

I have dozens of phones we've tested the 18w charger on so this is first hand testing. iPhone SE 2020 version improved the charging time with an 18w charger by just over an hour. The standard charger is atrociously slow. The same with the iPhone 11/11 Pro Max

Be sure to use an 18w usb C charger with a C to C cord or in the iPhones case, a usb C to lightning cord.

My personal favorite chargers and cords we use daily are...
This is the usb C to lighnting cable for the iPhone SE
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XS5958F

My preferred C to C cord (it's a 2 pack)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DQM7WH5

And THIS charger works exceptionally well. (Charges 2 devices at once)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0833XR41B

* We picked up 2 of these chargers for a total of $36 shipped

Currently clip the coupon for $7 off. So $19 each. Not the cheapest it's ever been but it's worth the $19 bucks.

So if my phone is connected to this charger, and the charger is plugged in to a power outlet, can both be charged at the same time?

if you have the money, just spend extra to getting 100W USB-C cables. i have so many USB-C cables that I don't know which are 60W and which are 100W.

Nope. It doesn't support pass through charging.

Don't think someone was able to confirm on the old thread. If someone was able to buy one last time, can you confirm this?

Saw this in a review:

"the internal battery doesn't charge when another device is plugged in, even when that device is fully charged and pulling less than 0.1A. I've tested this with a fully charged iPhone 6S and iPhone 11 on both Apple's USB-C to Lighting cable and a standard USB-A to Lightning cable. In both cases, the internal battery on the Fusion 5K will not charge until the given phone is physically disconnected, as even a fully charged phone pulls enough power to block the changeover to internal charging of the Fusion 5K's battery."

Would somebody here who has one be able toconfirm?

I lost my older Powercore Fusion (both usb a) and I'm looking at this for replacement. It's really convenient for travel and daily commute. It charges itself once my device is fully charged, as advertised. Was hoping the same case for this one. TIA!

Not sure what you mean by "pass through charging," but one of the pictures says "The charger will charge connected devices first before charging itself."

One reviewer said it wont charge itself as long as there is a device plugged in, even if that device is fully charged already.

Would like to verify with others if that is true with their units.

One thing to keep in mind is the battery prevents you from being able to check this item. Personally I prefer to keep the battery and charger separate as I do fly quite a bit.

according to the top review on the amazon page, no.
you'll have to disconnect all devices from the charger, then it will charge itself. Which takes 2.5 hours to fully charge.

This is considerably slower than the stock chargers of the newest Samsung devices. But yes better than the stock iPhone chargers.
