Costco's Wifi 6 mesh router

Costco's selling TP-link Deco x60 wifi 6 router three pack for $330. Would you upgrade now or wait for tri-band and/or wifi 6E? Especially with a wifi backhaul

I am looking for a Wifi 6 Mesh Router system myself. Unless a great pops up I am going to wait as prices will come down and the Wifi 6 standard will be fully fleshed soon.

If you dont have a backhaul channel I would not buy if it had wifi 6 backhaul, but that price is not great. You will not have better performance than a regular triband. Just my 2 cents I have a triband mesh now range and speed is very good. The satellites have 2 ethernet ports which I do use. I just dont like mesh when I have 2.4ghz iot devices. So I also have a linksys router.

I have the deco 4 and use the Ethernet ports for the back-haul. It has 3 units.
This has been working well for me. Got it off Amazon for $175ish I think (too lazy to look at my order history)

Wifi 6 without the 6ghz band isn't nearly as useful as it will be. I would wait till prices drop and 6ghz is added to more devices. Chances are most of your devices can't take advantage of Wifi 6 now so you won't see a huge benefit. As others said if you can wire your back haul too things will work a lot better.
