27" is OK for fhd games with ultra settings 4ft away. Stick Out Tongue 32 inch pixels are huge at this size. Text looks horrible. People keep posting this whenever staples has discount codes. Expect hard drives shortly.

Lol yup, tried watching stranger things on my BenQ 27 1080p and it was pixelated mess. This size needs 4k

Trying to find something for a PC sim racing rig, but comments make this sound like a bad option considering size/resolution. Don't need 4k, suggestions?

At 32 I'd go for 2560x1440... 2560x1440 at 32 is good enough to replace two monitors if you are use to dual 22s. Unless you have wide spreadsheets then two 22s may be more worth it. I was going to have a 2 22s one in portrait the other landscape until I saw the 32 I have now.

What kinds of things impact if you can use a monitor to code?

You can use the monitor for anything, but it's not going to be good at anything, just make sure you know what you're paying for.

I have a 27" with 1920x1080, using it for coding, I think the text size is just right for me, and can also put two windows size by side. You could pay for more with higher resolution, but then you would zoom in or scale it so the fonts are large enough. Are you willing to pay the premium for prettier font? That's for you to decide.

It's OK at this price point; I'm surprised I haven't seen any compliant about VESA mount not supported, or monitor syncing, refresh rate, no display port (features found in more expensive models)...LMAO

No, it isn't. Many people, myself included, have been using this same size/resolutions for years now happily. So much depends on model, brand, and use case that throwing all monitors of this resolution under the bus just isn't fair.
For those looking for a big screen and low GPU requirements, this is absolutely fine. I got my daily driver of this size/resolution (albeit a Samsung) for $100 a few years back though so it may be worth shopping around for a better price.

Same here. Use two 32" Samsung 1080p Monitors at work. They are totally fine for work.

It is. It comes with a VESA mount adapter.

Take a look at "What's in the box" under specs
