For $4.60 more, you could also get the "First Aid Only 298 Piece All-Purpose First Aid Kit (FAO-442)" for $14.99.

It comes with a bunch more bandaid, more gauze pads of various sizes, and tape.

The rescue blanket and cold pack added to the reason I chose this kit over the listed kit for both of my cars.

Price seems fair at $14.99. It was lower 1-2 years ago. For price over the last 3 months, $14.99 is fair, but no doorbuster.
90 day average price:
$12.89

Inflated strike thru price.
Still a sale, but exaggerated discount from unrealistic list price.

thanks for posting OP.
everyone should have a first aid kit Smilie

Walmart has a 140 piece first aid for 9.99, not sure if it's better though.

I have bought a couple of first aid kits and I think it's better to shop individual first aid items yourself. These kits sold here normally have way too many bandages than you need. And not enough medication to treat wounds, insect stings/bites, burns...

Yeah, not a bad idea. one of my kits was put together with a bunch of deals and then I bought an EMS bag so that it's easily recognizable. I like to keep things like proper tourniquets and Israeli bandages in my kits and I give em out to friends and family. Hope to never use them! hug

Just bought this.

OP, just because it has a red strike through on the price doesn't mean it's a SlickDeal.

I find it funny that the is "Amazon's Choice" for "thermometers for people" when there is no thermometer in the kit...

Thanks for the post. Added just to have a kit for my car and it reminded me I need a tourniquet as well. Not on sale but I like the swat-t and feel it is important to have with any at home kits.

I've found buying piecemeal allows you to tailor to your specific needs, sure, but ends up costing much much more overall.

Example: Say you use the cold pack out of the $14.99 kit linked above. How much is it to buy just a cold pack piecemeal to replace it? You get the idea.
