This isn't the "slickest" deal, but definitely think that this version compared to the other one for $25 is much better. You can select the PSI you want, and it automatically stops when completed. Also, you don't have to hold it the whole time you are using it, just set it and walk away. I just topped off four vehicles with a 4aH battery and still had half power remaining.

Add the two items (inflator and battery pack) as two separate items to cart and not as a Ryobi promotion bundle. When adding the inflator to cart, choose Store Pickup and make sure the store you are choosing has the item in stock. Add battery pack as Ship to Home.

Now when you place the order, go into your Online Orders section and you will see a "Cancel Items" link for that order. Click that to cancel the Battery pack since that's the only one you can cancel. Your store pickup will be ready to go in a few hours.

Enjoy!

Edit: Home Depot can let you cancel the Battery Pack within 45 mins of placing the order, but not after that.
Unless you plan on doing a ton of work with power tools, I would go into the Ryobi universe. The sheer number of tools is great. And the quality is great for a home user.
It was $35 for a long time before it went out of stock.

If you had no ryobi batteries and no dewalt batteries would you:
Get the ryobi inflator with the 2 battery pack starter kit @ $99, or
Get the dewalt at 99 with no batteries - use the cig adaptor and wait for a tool/battery deal

Yes, I missed that one. It went OOS pretty fast. That's why I prefaced with this isn't the slickest deal, but for those in need of a good inflator and don't want to hold out waiting months to save $5 I think they should go ahead and pull the trigger on this one.

or get it with the 2 battery pack and return the battery packs...tool ends up being $28.47

I agree this is a super handy tool, just be warned the larger hose for pool toy inflation etc. is veeeeerrrrrrrrrry flimsy. I used it for the first time last weekend and it crunches/deforms so easily I was shocked.

For car tires this thing is great though.
