Best Triple Monitor Setup Recommendations

179 67 June 22, 2020 at 03:18 PM
I have a new desktop I got from Slickdeals (LINK [skytechgaming.com])

SKU: ST-BLAZE-II-2700X-2060SUPER
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost)
Case: Skytech Blaze II Tempered Glass Case
CPU Cooler: Wraith Stealth Cooler
Fans: 3x Skytech ARGB, Dual Ring Fans
Motherboard: B450M
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2x 8GB) 3000 MHz
Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2060 Super 8GB GDDR6
Primary Hard Drive: 500GB SSD
Power Supply: 550 Watt 80 Plus Bronze
Networking: 802.11 ac
Operating System: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit

I am looking for guidance on a triple monitor setup that I can use for work (not gaming). I need it to run multiple tabs (20-30) on Chrome and to read out x-rays throughout the day.

Thoughts and recommendations?

Thank you!

( I currently have 2 x 24" LG IPS LED) monitors but am looking to upgrade to new 24" inch monitors and have a triple monitor setup.

All the images are in simple black and white. The resolution of x-rays from our x-ray machine are generally 1080P but I wonder if that's just what we're seeing because of the limited graphics card on the workstation tied to the x-ray machine. We're thinking that we might be missing things (or not seeing things) because of the graphics card and monitor we're using but can't be sure for sure until we upgrade them all (I guess).

Is there a limit to the number of monitors I can have hooked up to that 8GB graphics card I have:?

the limit is the number of ports you could probably add a second card too just don't put them side by side to make connecting them easier. If you look at the file properties it should tell you the dimensions.
you probably want a 4K monitor that is why I sent the link.
