My Primacy's lasted a measly 10K miles. They said it's cause I only rotated them once and the fact that they are high performance tires. I call BS.This and some touring tires might help.

This could be a great deal if sears also has points promotion.

Also from what I remember Michelin can take four tires from separate receipts or days of purchase as long as all purchases are within the promotion period.

Could work out great if sears has a couple different points back promotions between now and July 3rd.
points did not automatically post to my account so I had to call them and it worked out even better because they put the whole amount in one shot instead of spreading.

I think primacy was replaced by premier. I was debating between premier and defender and went with the defender because premier owners complained about longevity. defender is more of a truck tire it's very bumpy but either it gets better with some miles or I got used to it. Have about 35,000 miles on the tires, still good.

Is there a rebate form with the terms? There are no details at all on the website. "Up to $150" tells you nothing as to how much you would be getting and whether there are specific Michelin or BF tires that qualify.

I have not seen any points back offers from Sears/Kmart for a long time.

They are making it so you have to come in. When I get my appointment I'll update regrading points and rebate form.

It seems like most of this year all the points promotions disappeared. About a year or two ago we replaced the tires on all our pickup trucks needing them due to the promos earning $1,000's in points along with tool and other purchases at the store that were part of the program.

were you able to use all your points?
Did you get them all at once or were they spread?

Sears had great deals on tires two three years ago. I was debating on getting a second set, wasn't sure of the shelf life..

Last year they had $150 back in points so I purchased one tire not sure if i will ever use it but $172 before $20 coupon was too good to pass up. I got the points in one shot and used them to get snowblower at 90% off at Kmart.

Purchased most tires with Sears Kmart gift cards purchased at 10 to 30% discount...
It's sad they're no longer around.
I don't even know where I'll be buying tires next time. BJ's Costco Sam's are rip-offs

I never liked the points promos that paid weekly and were only good for one week. The good program was sears auto paying $300 or $350 back in points divided by 12 and each 1/12 was good for 30 days. The other good program was spend at least $100 and get back $100 in points divided by 4 and each 1/4 was good for 2 weeks. The good thing was that promotion could be repeated every day so the very next day you could earn yet another $100 so at any given point you could have multiple 1/4 ($25s) during any given 2 week period. With our multiple family members and multiple $100 orders, at times we would go to kmart and use $300-400 in points on one trip. This year, no promos at all like that so far, just a minimal 1%.

I was thinking of doing the same thing but i could not justify paying roughly half price for the item I may not need. Also local stores were closed by then and the closest ones were about 30 minutes away. Plus it all reminded me 100%cashback website which went bankrupt about 15 years ago.. so I only went for the item I needed and items where I could use points and earn points like $300 item with spend 150 get 150 back

but I got lucky - I always had problems with points not added automatically so points were added manually the whole amount in one shot.

I had them add the whole amount as well. They were great. I have items new in the basement waiting for something to break. Sadly I figured Sears may go out of business and I may as well keep years worth of supplies, that I viewed almost as getting free plus I don;'t mind being generous with stores that give back. the problem is I am having a hard time getting around the basement.

Did you stock up with washers, dryers and refrigerators?Smilie
I was thinking of doing that but that's a little crazy Smilie
Sears had freezers on clearance were they would be free after points I didn't go for it now regret I didn't Smilie
I just didn't know how much longer Sears will stay in business

For anyone interested, I called Sears Auto. The deal is you get a $40 rebate if you spend between $250 and $499, and it goes up by tier from there. The last tier is $150 rebate if you spend over $1000. Not a very good deal.
