They're high end SSDs. They're up there with the Samsung 970s and Sabrent rockets. I'm not sure why some of them are a lot more expensive than others for the heatsink tbh. The difference is $5 on the 1 TB and $30-40 on the other two.

I'm not sure this is a good deal...?

SX8200 2TB is $260 and trade blows.

If you're gonna spend $400 on NVMe might as well go all the way...

Mixed I/o and random is probably more useful than huge sequential numbers so imo wd is at least as good if not better (looks like sx8200 had better random read but otherwise 750 was better)

Constructive Feedback for OP:
1.) Not actually a good price / deal
2.) Poorly constructed initial post. Triggered alert email with very little useful information
3.) Initial title was either too long and got cutoff or did not contain price or store information

Okaaaaay, this is not helpful at all. What make/model? Where did you buy? Link to deal?
As already stated here by lightingman117, not all SSD/NVMe are built the same... there are HUGE differences in performance, so you get what you pay for IMO

As nijave also posted... it's NOT just about sequential write speeds... so you have to look at the metric that matters most to YOU, based on your usage pattern (moving huge files around vs. random read/writes)

AFAIK, it's THIS model, hence my response.

The 1 TB w/heatsink is supposedly around $140 right now on the WD website after you add it and hit checkout.
