Probably a stupid question but are these used for newborns? Or only toddlers and up?
Fwiw, once our son was able to hold up his head well, we would click him in this during dinner and he enjoyed watching, even before starting solids or otherwise using the chair. My favorite part is when he started looking VERY interested in what we were eating.

Definitely not a stupid question. I was asking the same thing 6 months ago! Around 3-4 months I think babies get pretty good at holding heads up, and sitting upright between 4-6 months. I wouldn't really try and put a child under 4-6 months in one. Ask your GP for clarification, as age guidelines change every year.

What do you recommend without cloth and easy cleaning for baby 4 months old?
At 4 months, if you trust that baby has good head control, I would use a Bumbo. They have Bumbo with tray too. But the entire seat is a soft squishy foam, it holds the baby upright, and it's easy to wipe clean because it's plastic and not cloth. The only bad thing about Bumbo is how fast the child outgrows it. Estimate 2 months and the baby can sit up on their own and won't need the Bumbo anymore. But this is the well known helper for moms when babies are trying to learn to sit up and spit all over the place. Very easy to clean!

We've got this one for our 9 month old and started using it when she was ~4-5 months old and we like it so far. Fairly easy to fold up, but we honestly just leave it out. Definitely feels secure since the harness and table both keep her locked in. Can't remember what we paid for it, but I think we paid much more than this. Plus, it's Costco... soooo....

Have this one. It's super heavy and bulky. Good quality though so you know it's gonna last you till your baby's a toddler. Mines been using it since 3 months cause she has acid reflux. It's ok if they can't sit yet cause it leans back same as if you were holding you baby. easy to clean too.

This is a great deal! We have the same one for our 16 month old who has been using it since he was 6 months old. I find the cloth padding/insert easy to spot clean with a damp cloth after feeding.

Biggest negative is that it's not easy to travel with. Or put away in a closet. Quite bulky

I bought this high chair thinking i wanted the best for my kid.. But it's really not worth it. It's really big, Cleaning is a pain, too many nooks and crannies. Just get a regular simple $30 high chair and you'll be just fine. Everytime i go to a restaurant (used to go), I want to take one of those wooden ones home!

Just checked... we paid $140 for it, and we have no regrets. Less time to deal hunt nowadays Smilie

Decent chair. I hate the tray! A pain to take out. I think my chair is a partial lemon.

i bought week ago for same price, looks good only issue is bulky and hard to move or fold.

And keep in mind, for returns you have to pay return shipping cost, so check reviews and make sure what you want before buy from graco.
