Also no VoLTE for T-Mobile. So for voice, you're stuck with 2G/3G-only coverage.

I've used this phone on TMobile for years, no issues! VoLTE and WiFi calling can be enabled with one of the many rock solid stable ROMs. Also, Google Camera ports work well with all 3 cameras (Zero shutter lag HDR, Night sight, astrophotography), and even the stock camera app is available to install as an apk on custom roms (for that sweet 4k 60fps recording).

I've been hunting for a dual-sim mobile phone that supports both GSM and CDMA. Sadly, it looks like there's no such phone available!
Even the $1000+ flagship S20 doesn't support CDMA in its dual sim variant!!

The price has gone up to $279.99.

The phone has no 4G band 66 and 71. I'm disappointed because my 2016 phone has the same 4G bands - missing band 66 and 71 as well. If I buy this I won't get an upgrade. Sucks!

You don't understand what band 66 is..it just a band 4's extension ...

OK. Thanks! We're almost done with 4G. May we at least have all the 4G bands before moving on to Starlink?

Wish the price can be somewhat lower. The specs of this phone look really good: dual-sim, expandable Micro-SD slot, great camera, and unlocked (which is almost the default nowadays of course).

Dual-sim or Micro SD card, you may choose one, but not both. The micro SD card will take up a SIM card space.

Good to know. So, not as good as I thought. Thanks!

Starlink ? It won't be usable in the foreseeable future...

Are we going to use 5G after the 4G? If no alternative, I'll hang on to my 4G phones.

look at this thread, and in particular umidigi. a lot of their phones are dual SIM + lte 2/4/5/12/17/<66/71> plus cdma, plus sd card. can't officially activate a Verizon sim, but unofficially they work, even volte + DSDV volte(dual volte). may have to play around with apn settings to get everything working, no guarantees

basically every network except sprint (which is owned by TMobile now and moot)

https://www.howardforums.com/show...izon-MVNOs

(their latest flagship s5 pro doesn't have 3.5mm, and shared sim2/micro slot. f2 had separate slots for sim1/2/micro and 3.5mm, around $150-200). the cheaper a7pro 128GB for $140 don't support 71, the 64GB version doesn't have cdma)

or get a China/HKG model iPhone physical dual SIM (the rest have physical sim+esim
