Not a bad deal but I would encourage people to support their local "Ma &Pa" guitar stores if possible... I know for some thats not an option but man are they disappearing fast.

D'Addarios are way more consistent than the Slinkys and feel better.

Can't change it. Most shops are completely gone. Giving them extra $3 is not going to prolong their existence.

Truth. Bottom line is most of these stores won't price match the big boys. I mean let's be real, why would I pay more for the same guitar, etc.? Service? Guitar Center is even going down the s—ter.

Throwing some string money their way ain't gonna save that sector. They need to start using the advantages b&m stores give I.e. be a store for enthusiasts and not just a glorified warehouse that sells items shipped from another warehouse.

Why wouldn't shopping at their business keep them in business? As far as the ones that are already gone, they're gone ofc.
