According to CNET, upgradeable to 16GB

Lenovo site does NOT say RAM is soldered:

I think even the 60hz 300nit 100% srgb is preferable to this one.

I've been looking for a couple of days. But most of the laptops in this price range or under seem to have 250 nits. Would love to get a better screen as well but might have to settle on the hp x360.

Legion comes in 3 screen options, the 60hz display is 300nits, This one [ebay.com] was $805 four weeks ago.

,,,it will be again, the regular 1650 is considered low end now.

My number 1 issue with my current 2 year old laptop is the screen. Finding a color accurate 15.6 inch display for under $1000 with upgradable parts and a discrete gpu for casual gaming has been a difficult journey. Screen quality has been the hardest information to look up and very confusing with different models, some not even listed on the manufacturer's web site. I saw in another thread that you went with the MSI Modern. Any suggestions on what you would buy today?

My current favorite (although a little overpowered for what I need) is a different configuration of this same model with a better screen https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=6406883

Definitely exists. Lenovo has 60Hz 250 & 300 nit, 144Hz in both 300 & 500 nit and 240Hz w/500 nit available. May be coming out later but for the higher Hz and nit, definitely pushing that price up.

For the price there, I may wait to see what 4th of July offers there will be especially since it's only a week away. Applause
