Looks nice, but no SD card slot according to an Amazon review.
I picked up the original Best Buy listed with 128GB for $299. I think it was well worth it. If you're not planning on diving into using Linux with this device 64GB is plenty. Save the $50. Otherwise, this is an amazing device that comes with a good keyboard/cover. You will not regret your purchase.
so i purchased this for this price 2 weeks ago and I had very high hopes for it. Sadly I returned it yesterday.

Basically for the deal this price is amazing and it comes with everything you need. However the biggest problem I had was how slow the browser is. Its not that its slow to go to get to websites but it is just very choppy/ refresh rate is horrible and often I was clicking random things instead of what I intended to (partly my fault but also the device itself is just not that clean). Browsing is fine if your doing it very casually however for productivity this is not usable. It took me a long time to do very simple tasks to the point where it was just not worth it for me. However the package it comes with is very good. So if your using it for very light work and dont mind the browsing deficiencies then this is a great value.

Having said all that if you can do everything you need in a ipad and dont need chrome then its not really a comparison. The base ipad 300 with a 3rd party keyboard for 30$ ((330 total) is FARRR better experience then this duet. It is not even close even if it will be slightly more expensive.

Picked one of these up in store a few weeks ago. So much value for $250. Great little device. Use it all the time. Not only is this below MSRP but these are IMPOSSIBLE to find right now.

I love this tablet, in my opinion it's worth more than $249 even with 64GB of storage

I think android apps can be installed on these machines. Is this better than a Android tablet? Thanks.

Probably bc this is detachable. That being said wish it was 8gb ram.

I mean, I have a 649 Tab S6 with 6GB RAM. It's nice to want things outside their price range but, not realistic.

I'd rather it have a stronger CPU anyway. I have a Chromebook X2 with M3 and due to it have a core M3, it's fast despite 4GB RAM. I have another old Toshiba 4GB Chromebook with a Celeron N2840, and it's slow as hell. The RAM is the same on both, CPU makes the difference.

4GB RAM is still fine for lower end Android and Chrome devices. I'd only really start to balk at 4GB with Windows. Even then if the price is right it might be ok.

Duet has a nice bright 400 nits display which for me is #1.

i recall some vendors were working on chromebook w/ ability to dual boot to Windows? I just need basic windows to run a ECU flash/tune app for my car, otherwise i have no other need for Windows in ultra portable. The resolution is impressive. USB port? (I assume USB-C can use adapter to A).

Although I am not fully conversant in the issue, I read somewhere there is a known limitation relating to connecting this to some (perhaps even most?) external displays. Just make sure this isn't a deal-breaker for your particular use-case. It is not for mine, and I'm definitely in for one!
