Ridiculous amount of added "sugar." Applesauce does NOT need sugar added. ARGH

While I agree HFCS is not good for anyone, I recently had some unsweetened apple sauce and it definitely needed some sugar to enhance its flavor.

Could not disagree more. and I've been feeding unsweetened applesauce to youngster for 6+ years, never complains about it and loves it.

I agree you couldn't make a bigger deal out of a difference of opinion.

You must be a hit at parties, telling people what not to eat.

Edit: And your youngster eats what you feed it because he doesn't know the difference. Feed it applesauce with a bit of sugar in it and report back which one it prefers.
