2nd link is broken for me. Overall this is a good deal. Note that these are 1st gen powerline cables, not powerline II or newest powerline III, so they may not be as thin/ strong.

Bought the "Powerline+" version and it started failing within a few months. My stock google cable is still going strong after a few years. I think I'm done with Anker cables unless the price is worth taking the chance on.

Question for the Cable & Tech people:

If you have an Anker PD Power Bank with USB-C and USB-A outlets, would a USB-C to USB-A adapter cost you any speed or function? I realize this offer is for a USB-C to USB-C cable but I don't have a ton of USB-C devices to charge right now and I'd like to use to be able to use the secondary (USB-C out) port while the other USB-A is already connected to something.

I'm seeing 3.0 gen, 3.1, gen, powerline +, cables that support 60W or PD charging .. and I just haven't kept up with the latest tech on cables, connectors, and adapters. What do I need?

Thanks a bunch.

what kind of cables work for Apple's 96W USB C MacBook charger? These seem to be 60W

What's the real world difference between USB C 2.0 and 3.1 Gen 1?

The FP deal last month for TWO Aukey 6 foot c to c cables for $7 was much better... yet I don't have a time machine.

Everything from Anker and Aukey is being dropped in price, so if you don't NEED it now there's a decent chance for a better deal in the near future.

USB-C Is a type of connector, whereas 3.1 Gen 1/Gen 2 refer to the technology ie: the speed.

USB-C Uses 3.1 technology. USB 3.1 can be A, B, or C.

In reference to these two deals, is the only difference in data transfer speeds? Both support up to 60W for charging right?
