Can you imagine, this was only $63 or so last autumn?
Wait what?! For the 1tb? How'd I miss this?

The 512GB hit 60. I just searched "sx8200" and enjoyed that information chase...

Coupon didn't work last time but worked this time. Bought one and returned my previous purchase.

Check this thread. https://slickdeals.net/e/13488364-xpg-sx8200-pro-nvme-pcie-m-2-2280-ssd-lightning-deal-1tb-106-24-20-coupon-86-24-86-24?v=1&src=SiteSearch
First couple of minutes of this deal there was additional discount of $20 dollars along with $20 coupon. Price was $66. Please think twice before calling people names.

btw my original order was cancelled but I was able to order again and got refunds from Amazon and Adata.

You're right about his name calls.

That aside, the point others are making is that there was no intended retail price for $63 for the 1TB, and 8 months ago that referred deal was intended to be $100-ish and was a pricing error that was corrected. It wasn't that the drive was "going for $63" at the time. And now we're in covids.

Previous deals on this that had popularity were $129.99 (5/29/2020, +30 votes)... and that's it -- unless you go back to 2019 when you see $106.22 on 12/02/2019.

This is in the same Consumer tier (mid tier, with DRAM) as the SN750 -- which I admittedly prefer and has recently gone for $121 and $110 with coupons on WD.com, but both are good drives.

Does my motherboard support NVMe? I think it does. Newegg give the following for my mobo (MSI MSI Gaming Z170A KRAIT GAMING LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard).

M.2
1 x M.2 ports, supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 6Gb/s standards, 4.2cm/ 6cm/ 8cm length SSD cards
* M.2, SATA and SATAe ports maximum support 1 x M.2_PCIe + 2 x SATAs or 1 x M.2_SATA + 2 x SATAs. Please refer to M.2 slots with examples of various combination possibilities

The cheapest I've seen is 118 bucks (148 - 40 dollar coupon) around Black Friday. That being said, this is still a decent price given supply constraints, speed, and warranty.

Name-calling issue aside, pricing errors are not 'deals' and shouldn't be considered a baseline for future deals.
