Tesla Full Self Driving Discounted $4k -> $3k until July 1st for EAP owners

For those interested, looks like the price of FSD has decreased to $3,000 for a limited time.

Tesla will schedule a ranger install or have you come into the Tesla Service Center to install a HW 3.0 from HW 2.5 (For those with cars manufactured before May 2019). But you are paying to eventually be able to enable Full Self Driving on your Tesla.

This may be a hot deal for some who wish to somewhat future proof their car and bring HW.3.0 visualizations for now (traffic light / stop sign detection). Eventually this will add the ability for the car to respond to traffic signals and stop signs, and ultimately full self driving.

I might also add that it might be worth it to wait till June 30th to see if Elon decides to sweeten the deal. On July 1, FSD will be $1k more expensive, according to Elon [caranddriver.com]. Then again, Tesla is notorious for crazy price changes [insideevs.com].

I see $3k for full self driving on my app. Too much for me I'll pass. I'll consider it when it is actually full self driving and not kinda self driving

In the Tesla app I can see under the "purchased section" - it says "Autopilot"

If your car is on autopilot and you put in a destination on your navigation, does it give you the option to allow the car to change lanes and take on ramps and off ramps for you?

I always see the double blue lines - no automatic lane change for me, or off ramp stuff

You don't have Enhanced Autopilot then, you have Basic Autopilot.

Enhanced Autopilot was an option that was sold with cars starting in 2016, discontinued a few years after when Autopilot became standard for all cars other than the $35K SR model 3.

Only owners that have Enhanced Autopilot qualify. So i think you'd still have to pay 7k. Not sure why it isn't 6k tho. but I personally wouldn't even consider it unless it was 3k or lower.

Same here. Everything for 5k. I will wait. Half baked features are not worth 10k, no matter what Elon says.

Looks like this only adds traffic light and stop sign control to the current EAP features.

Autosteer on city streets are "coming soon."
