Played the Ultimate Evil edition on PS3. Decent enough, but I don't think I care to buy it again just to play as the Necromancer. Even though that was my favorite class from D2.

I got the physical version of this on Xbox One X to play couch coop with my daughter.

I really tried to like it, but I dont understand the appeal.

When enemies appear, mash the buttons until they die. Repeat.

Top-down action RPGs don't have to have boring combat. For example there is very nuanced, skill-based combat in Alienation, Helldivers, and How to Survive 2.

But instead, Blizzard chose to focus on lightshows instead. Never understood why.
The game is for both casual gamers as well as hardcore gamers. You can adjust the difficulty level to suite your play style. It gets very difficult and technical on the extreme levels. But how cool is it you can play with your daughter.

me and my wife play seasons to see how far we can push before we get bored, playing new classes or builds each time. I think our best was GR 125 which we achieved a couple weeks back, and then we stopped after PTR for next season was announced.

Increase your difficulty, my dude. If you don't need strategy, you're too low. Or play on Hardcore to force yourself to be more careful.

Harder, longer, deeper.

And more "mature."

It has an awesome 1 player mode. I only play one player. Hack n slash withbalot of upgrades and each class plays differently.
I haven't played since Diablo II(?) around 1998? ... would i enjoy this one?

Btw, my Diablo II disc exploded in my CD drive (while playing) and took it down with it...that was the last time i played it...

A sign? ...maybe just a sign that I couldn't afford a replacement cd drive lol

For normal difficulty playthrough I agree completely. When you get to the end game the gameplay gets much more interesting

I'd just buy diablo 2 lord of destruction again. Around $20 on blizzard and tons of people still play ($10 for d2 and $10 for expansion). Most of the people playing are older guys that played back in the day. Loved d2 and was real excited when d3 came out but I found it to be a total let down.

D2 skelenecro build was fun. Of course you just got wrecked by any half decent boss, but you rarely had to click ordinary bad guys. D3 not so much.

I would buy this if there was a way to transfer my Xbox360 save game file to the PS4. When I did a Google search, it seems I missed my window years ago.
