I've been searching for a new laptop for a week and been following slickdeals, I was about to get the previous MSI laptop deal, until I found this one.
Specs are very similar, but I ended up deciding for the Alienware because I've had it before and it was really good.

Specs:
9th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-9750H (6-Core, 12MB Cache, up to 4.5GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6 (OC Ready)
16GB DDR4 2666MHz
512GB PCIe M.2 SSD
Killer Wireless
Thunderbolt 3

You get an additional $50 discount using code: 50OFF699

I added the screenshot showing almost $300 discounts.

This is a pretty awful deal BTW - almost $1600 for a 2060 and a 60Hz display? That's actually overpaying by quite a bit. For almost $200 less, you can get an MSI with a 2070 instead of a 2060, a 144Hz display instead of a 60Hz, a 10th gen i7 instead of 9th .... You overpaid by more than $500.

Just 3 weeks ago there was a post here on Slickdeals for an Alienware M15 from Dell with a 2070 and 144Hz display for $1259.99. Better specs for $300 less.

Yeah that deal was:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14114468-alienware-m15-r1-15-6-fhd-ips-144-hz-i7-8750h-16gb-ddr4-rtx-2070-m...
That R1 version had an old i7 processor (2.2ghz)
I agree the RTX 2070 was better than the 2060, so it was a great deal but this model is newer.
I searched on Dell website and it looks like they don't have any more R1's with that processor, they all have 9th generation i7-9750H
Newer model looks nicer too(IMO).
