I want to recover (extract) the Exchange contacts that are on the iPhone or extract it from an iTunes backup. The Exchange contacts are stuck on the phone because the Exchange account was cancelled.

i tried Wondershare Dr.fone
but was told by their CS reps they don't do that! any ideas

thank you

It is very possible that when the account is cancelled it is not available and that is why a lot of companies
use iPhones for company phones. I am assuming that you actually have outlook on your phone. have you tried putting it in airplane mode and open outlook using your last password. If that does not work then more than likely it has been locked encrypted or locked. Doing an icloud recover will by definition have you online you could try doing that and as soon as it is restored, go offline and see if outlook will open using your password from that backup.

might want to see if you have a pst file and use this?

This if the account was canceled or Deleted by the organization, a key step to that is to erase company data first including the company contacts that were stored on exchange. If contacts were stored on the phone or in a personal account there would have been an option to leave personal contacts alone.

Are the contacts in the phones contacts app or Outlook/third party app? It's going to be a huge bitch depending on the amount of contacts but if you click on an individual contact you should have the option to "Share Contact" at the bottom and you can save it to your phone or email it to yourself.

UPDATE thank you for the replies this is whats wrong
We are not using the Outlook app. The contacts are in the Contacts App.
This was our own Exchange account that we cancelled.
