I've had Ys on my phone for a while, but I just learned that it, along with Double Dragon and R-Type, are Shield compatible! That actually makes these worthwhile purchases. Sweet!
Yes!! These are great on the Nvidia Shield TV!

Not hating on the deal, but Double Dragon games are already hard enough (I could never get past the conveyor belt stage on DD2) and they want us to do it on touch screen? My goodness...
I'm getting this more for my Chromebook than for my Android phone...

Does anyone know if I can pair a controller (PS4 controller, XBox controller, Steam controller, etc) with my Chromebook and play it that way?

Yup. Steam controller maybe. You'll need to update firmware to enable Bluetooth. Iirc the button mapping was funny, but I didn't spend a lot of time on it

Thanks, looks like a fun game!

ahh, price is just a little higher than expected for a game like that tho!
I don't think $25 for a new release with very good replay ability is all that high, unless you're talking about the fact it's digital delivery only. Limited Run did physical copies for $35 (sold out), but even the releases on Sega Genesis in the 1990s cost a lot more than $25 at the time.

If you're not familiar with the series, I can understand the hesitation since a lot of beat 'em ups tend to be good for one play through, but I don't believe that's the case with SoR.

Haha, I used to play DD2 with my cousin when we were kids. We were finishing the game each time, the challenge was to finish it with less coins possible.
