An amazing underrated game. Wish they'd release Viewtiful Joe for the Switch.

Does anyone know if this game has a physical (switch) edition? (other than the Japanese release?) As a general rule, I only buy physical copies of games to support player's ownership rights, but if it doesn't have one, then I'll just buy a game I love.

So I am a newbie that just got the switch for my daughter for her upcoming bday. (lucked out and snagged one of the few that are popping up). I have yet to receive and know nothing about their digital ecosystem. Would I be able to purchase this under my own profile and "give" it to her or would she be needing to sign in under my name to use it? I haven't set up any accounts or anything yet. Oh and she's turning 10, is this game even appropriate for her age?

I have the physical Japanese version. The English text is there from the moment you pop the cart in. Enjoy.

If bought on your profile then you would receive the license for it. Every profile has a main console tied to the account and any other profile on your account's main console can play that account's games even if it's not their main console. If you ever get a second Switch then she would still be able to play your games only if your account's main console was her Switch instead of your own. You would still be able to play your games on your own Switch since your profile has the license tied to it but you would need an online connection for the console to be able to check if you have the permission to play those games.

So more simplified, if you only have one Switch, then you don't have to worry about licenses and main consoles because all profiles can play each other's games. The complexities come when you have more than one Switch.

And yes, the game should be appropriate for a 10 year old. It might be a little too difficult for them though depending on their skill level.

This game is appropriate for a 10 yr. old. I didn't quite beat it back when it came out, but it is an 3rd person adventure game with some puzzles and some platforming. The main character is a dog who jumps, barks and uses paint strokes to dispatch opponents

With the exception of Animal Crossing, where it's only 1 island PER SWITCH (although other profile can have a home on that island).

I'm a reader, so I don't say this lightly: there is endless talking/chatter/yammering in Okami. It killed my enjoyment of the game.
