I did apply the SAVE10 coupon sparq, that still only brought it down only to $771.75

Spend the extra $100 for the Special Edition version. That will blow this laptop out of the water in performance.
Heck, the SE version is more powerful than the $862 deal posted here and $100 less.

You can update this version to the 1660ti for around $75 and then I don't think the graphics performance would be that different. Not everyone is jumping on the AMD bandwagon. I know I am not. Been there done that...

Nope. Rx 5600M is about equal if not better than 2060. Sorry bud for your decisions, you're livin in the past. New king on the block.

The 1660ti is close to the 2060 in performance too, especially the 80w version of the 2060.

Let's say for argument's sake they r neck and neck...does the upgrade from ryzen to i7 warrant that extra $100+?
