My daughter is 5 and I've wanted to get a second booster for my car, so that I don't have to keep taking it out of my wife's car when needed. How old do kids normally use booster seats until? She's normal size 5 year old, 6 in October.
Trying to figure out if I should by one like this or one of the backless seats I assume are for older kids.

Thanks!

All colors show a price of $169... what am I missing? Did the sale end?
Price drops to $127 once in the cart. Then apply promo code to get it to $95. The site was a little buggy to me I had to refresh to get the code to apply, then disable add blockers to continue to payment.

If she is around 40 pounds or more you could save some money and go with the Graco TurboBooster Highback Booster Car Seat. Currently 39.99 at Target.

How's this compared to chicco myfit?
Is there a slight recline so that the head of a child can stay upright when asleep?

She should be in a harness ideally until seat harness limits but definitely until she can be trusted to sit correctly and upright 100% of the time. Most kids should be in a harness until around age 7. Then she should move to the high back booster, and eventually to a low booster. Then they stay in the booster until they are average age 9-10, until they pass the 5 step test. You can look up car seat safety info online for more info.

This is a good type of seat for a 5 year old. This particular one is very wide.

For anyone else looking, current recommendations are for kids to stay rear facing until seat limits - many kids get to age 4+ rear facing. This seat is ONLY forward facing and booster. Under no circumstances should it be used at all for any kid under 2.

The MyFit has higher limits for the harness. It's easier to install, made of nicer materials, and much simmer.
The Nautilus 65 eventually converts to a backless booster, and the MyFit does not. It is a wide seat with wide cupholders.

First time around we went for this deal. With the second child graduating out of the carrier, I am going for the size4me 65 by graco. https://slickdeals.net/f/14147546-size4me-65-convertible-car-seat-with-rapidremove-101-24-fs?attrsrc=Test%3AElasticsearchIntegration%3AElasticsearch_rev3&src=SiteSearchV2Algo1
It reclines and has a reverse facing option. Nautilus isn't bad, but not great.

This is not a rear facing seat. If your child is at the age where they should be in a rear facing seat, don't get this.
