save and get the LG. it's overall better
yeah thats what i will do, still have the 27" korean monitor overclocked to 100hz. these damn prices are just so tempting at times. but probably best is to use the current monitor for another 2-3 years till the end of life for the gtx 1080ti to push games at 100hz and then upgrade the entire system. by that time the LG monitors should drop in prices too with new gpu able to push 144hz at 3440x1440p. trying to get a 3440x1440p push 144hz at high/max setting requires at least a 2080ti. im not even if that the rtx 2080ti can do that now.

Nothing wrong with the 100hz refresh for most users. Also possible the full resolution freesync refresh is limited to just one or two of the inputs. I am however curious about the build quality. Probably wait till the Philips 346B1C goes back on sale.

I have the AOC and would definitely wait for it.
The Respawn warranty, 144 hz and I think better look make it worth the extra time and money

At that price I couldn't not pick it up, if no other reason than to see what it's like. I'll try to report back when I can, if it is terrible I'll just return it.
Might want to rethink that and check Newegg's return policy

I don't see anything in the return policy that would prevent me from returning, even if I have to eat the restocking fee. This is a fraction of the price of other brands, and I won't be using it for gaming, I just wanted an ultrawide at 1440p for work.

My Westinghouse died as well as my brother's within 6 months after mine. Luckily we both had squaretrade and they covered and refunded us, I think I took the amazon option for the extra 5 or 10 percent at the time. I'm not saying Westinghouse is bad but I would get additional protection just in case.

I'm not bashing the monitor, but how is it a monitor can be considered for gaming if it has 100hz and the ms is higher than 4.

Ah, I was looking at the general newegg return policy, not the one on the specific page. I stand corrected.

Yea Newegg is notorious for having awful return policy on monitors. I think it's something like 8+ dead pixels to even get a replacement.

Curved VA panel. 1 year warranty.

8ms response time (GTG).

Page 9 of the manual is attached. It is 100 Hz refresh rate at full resolution.

I mean it's IPS but it's 60hz and 5ms so depending on your use case, you might not want either.
