Wanna get silly slick? They have a 20% off code that can stack with this deal, AND they give you Run Rewards. Look at the bottom right corner of the page and there's a 20% invite-a-friend like. Have someone invite you, get your 20% off code, and grab a couple pair for ~$55 each. THEN collect about $20 in Run Rewards to apply to another purchase, which you can absolutely use on a third pair for $48.

These wear out if you're an enthusiast, and it can't hurt to have one or two extra pairs.

Ah, the $20 run rewards actually has a threshold of $200 now. Darn.

Bought a pair first, then read about to see what I bought. Was hoping it would have a waterproof/breathable membrane since I've been running part of the Silver falls loop, and it's always wet. Also thinking it would make good approach shoes on glaciers. Probably fine, I'll just have extra socks. Hope sizing runs normal.
Yeah I have been waiting for a sale on the gtx version of these. They would be great to summit south sister. My buddy has them and wears them all the time. He is ex military and prefers them over an hiking shoe he has tried.

I'm out of the loop as far as what products are out there these days, so I didn't know they had a gtx version. My wife swears by her Solomons though, so I figured I should try a pair out. Non-waterproof are best for when wet feet are unavoidable though since they will dry faster, and they are better for dry conditions all the time. If these work out well, perhaps I'll pick up the gtx version if it goes on sale.

Looking to do Rainier this summer, and I prefer to do the approach up to Muir in light shoes.

Actually the outdoor shoes should not be waterproofed. Waterproof shoes is a marketing bvshit. Once inside of the shoes wet, and it will, it takes forever to make it dry. The best solution is, mesh UL shoes like Inov8 + Goretex socks only in wet condition. Lightest, practical, your feet always feel good in dry condition, and this is by far the fastest way to recover from wet condition. Goretex socks are used at army.

I guess I need to try these on somewhere. The 3 is great as a cleat but too narrow to continuously hike in for 3 hours. Maybe the 5 will fit better but no free returns with jackrabbit so cant afford to take that risk

Gotta use a different wifi/data source to use the code but yes this is a solid approach. Also may lose the FS if you only buy 1 so buy 2!!

They're significantly wider. Been running in these since the 3.

Jackrabbit returns are NOT happening currently. A message to jackrabbit support wasn't answered for 2 weeks.

Sent the return back and it's been 10 days since they received my return and no refund or word.

Solid trailrunners. I've had my 3s for over 3 years now and going strong. These are like the 4x4 for running shoes in harsh weather conditions.
