"Receive 10,000 Bonus Points—which equals $100 cash back, when deposited into an eligible Fidelity account—after you make at least $1,000 in eligible net purchases within the first 90 days of account opening."

There are cards with better offers, take your pick:

Just an example of getting way more than $100 cash back is the Discover It card with the following "INTRO OFFER: Unlimited Cashback Match. Discover will automatically match all the cash back you've earned at the end of your first year! There's no minimum spending or maximum rewards. Just a dollar-for-dollar match.

Wells Fargo Propel (AMEX) offers 20,000 bonus points ($200 cash redemption value) within same threshold ($1,000 of purchases within 90 days).

This card is a bit different from others since it's aimed towards people with investing in mind. It's also 2% cashback on everything. You can pay your utilities with this card and transfer your rewards into your Fidelity brokerage account and many other options.

I've used this card for almost 10 years. Keep in mind while initially the rewards must be transferred to a money market (or other) account, you can pull it out to checking writhing 2-3 days.

I will apply for this card. 200 for 1000 spend is good.

What utilities allow use of a credit card? Pg&e charges 3%.

3% you're probably out of luck other than trying to hit a sign-up bonus, but some are free or flat fee. Flat fee I just pay 3-4 months at a time so the rewards outweigh the fee.

Not sure if PG&E is electric, but you can look at Arcadia, they allow you to pay with a credit card and then pay your power bill for you. No fee and it goes towards clean energy

That's the card you do not get for the sign-up bonus. 2% unconditionally on everything, no limit, is just unbeatable. Been using it for about 10 years. Used to be AMEX, now Visa.

I understand it may be a hassle to set up a Fidelity brokerage account to reap the 2%, but it's free, no trading required, available to anyone.

A version of this card has been my go to card for about 25-30 years now. It was originally marketed as a 529 college savings card with the same unlimited 2% cash back and no yearly fees.
