Kershaws are great, but I'll pay more for the American made Kershaws. This Kershaw knife is made in China... 👎🏻

8Cr13MoV fyi.... not that there's anything wrong with that ....its a good budget steel imho.... perhaps a bit soft but does take a great edge.... the cyro is one of my favorite budget edc's. l/r , tip up/down, low ride clip and stout short usable functional blade.

Various configurations of Emerson are also $5-10 cheaper than usual:

It's a decent beater, though quite heavy for its size (4.2oz). Deep pocket clip is its biggest plus. Too bad that there are not interchangeable because I just can't bring myself to spend $25 on a clip.

I have 3 of the stainless steel ones and they are great for casual use. Would buy more but need to stop collecting when the others still work great.

Love my 3.9" Emerson. Once you figure the design out, you'll never go back to anything else. It's faster than friends' full autos/Benchmades, etc.
Which one do you have? I have a Skyline and RJ Tactical (and now Cryo -- thanks, Slickdeals), but Emerson had been on the radar for a bit.

6055 (XXLL something), the only one that's 3.9" long. I have two of the 3" ones, but they don't have enough length/weight to make them as fast/faster than an auto, plus they have G10 on both sides of the handle which makes them a lot thicker.

I have the Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker:

https://www.amazon.com/Tri-Angle-...231&sr=8-2

It works really well and no water or oil needed to use. If you like, at the end of the day, just swipe five times on each side and then, alternate 1 time on each side for 5 more times. Wicked edge.
